YouTube Safety Settings
You Tube is a video sharing platform. Users can view and rate content. The platform does have some parental controls, however due to the level of inappropriate content available it's use is not advised for younger children. You will need a Google Account to access the Parental Controls. If the child signs out of the account or accesses YouTube through an internet browser the content will not be restricted.
One of the greatest fears we have outside of inappropriate content access, is children developing short attention spans due to the instant gratification gained by watching huge amounts of content, but never to it's entirety.
