Anima Safety Settings

Anima is an AI companion marketed for personal conversation and simulated relationships. Its website also promotes adult interactions. This Anima safety settings guide helps parents identify the service, understand its age warnings and use verified reporting, billing and privacy routes. Important gaps in the official instructions remain clearly identified.

Age Rating and Child Safety Warning

Anima’s website Underage Policy requires adult access, normally 18 or older, with local legal eligibility also relevant. Its sign up screen asks users to confirm they are over 18. This is a declared age check, not evidence of a completed identity or biometric verification.

Official wording is inconsistent. The privacy policy opening refers to being over 16 or having parental agreement, while other official age wording refers to adults. Do not use the lower wording to justify a child account. The service includes adult relationship content and is not recommended here for children.

However, a store’s content rating does not override the website’s adult access warning. Parents should check the exact app, developer and website rather than another product with the name Anima.

Anima Safety Settings: Restrictions Available

Review these Anima safety settings in the account actually being used. Also, check each device because one choice may not apply everywhere.

The reviewed official material did not establish a child profile, linked parent account, parent conversation dashboard or an enforced child content filter. Content policies describe provider moderation. They do not give parents a verified filter configuration or a promise that harmful material cannot appear.

Anima: Prevent access on a supervised Android device

For example, Family Link can block an app for an eligible supervised child account.

  • First, open the parent’s Family Link app and select the child.
  • Next, select Screen time, Time limits, then App limits.
  • Then, choose Anima, change Allowed to Blocked and select Done.
  • Finally, check the child’s connected device after the change has applied.

Why it matters: This blocks the selected installed app. It does not automatically block every companion website, another account or another device. Google says changes can take approximately five minutes.

Anima Safety Settings and Why They Matter

Report concerning content

In addition, Anima publishes a complaint route for content, service and account issues.

  • First, use the website’s Contact section or email support@myanima.ai.
  • Next, identify the account and describe the concern, including relevant dates and times.
  • Then, include a relevant screenshot only when needed and safe. Remove unrelated personal details.
  • Finally, ask for escalation or an appeal through the same support route if the response does not address the issue.

Why it matters: A report can trigger review but does not provide immediate protection. Stop the interaction and seek human support when the conversation causes distress. Do not send an entire private history when a short description will do.

Anima: Request data access or deletion

Also, use the official privacy contact when an account or conversation contains information you need removed.

  • First, email support@myanima.ai using the address associated with the account.
  • Next, state whether you are requesting access, correction, portability or deletion.
  • Then, specify the account and the categories involved, such as messages, images or recordings. State if it concerns underage use.
  • Finally, ask what verification is necessary, what data will remain and when the request will be completed.
  • Next, retain confirmation and cancel any unwanted subscription separately.

Why it matters: This review did not verify a current in app deletion menu. Removing an app or clearing a chat screen is not proof that the provider erased account data.

Stop recurring charges

First identify the payment provider on the receipt. A web purchase and an app store purchase may require different cancellation routes.

  • For an Apple purchase, open Settings, your name, Subscriptions, then Anima and Cancel Subscription.
  • Next, for Google Play, open Subscriptions, select Anima, choose Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.
  • Finally, for a web purchase, contact support@myanima.ai and request the applicable cancellation route and confirmation.
  • Finally, check the expiry or renewal status and retain the receipt and response.

Why it matters: Uninstalling does not cancel store billing. Ask the seller about a refund separately. Do not assume that account deletion stops a charge.

Anima: Reduce Sensitive Information and Permissions

Therefore, avoid sharing intimate photographs, children’s images, health histories, exact locations or information about other people. An affectionate reply can encourage disclosure that you would normally keep private. Review permissions and notification access separately on every device.

In addition, use the provider’s privacy policy to check how messages, uploads, usage information and service providers are involved. A statement about confidentiality is not the same as a guarantee that only your device processes a conversation. No verified native multifactor authentication menu was established in this review.

Anima Safety Settings for Device Permissions

Device choices reduce access to sensors and alerts. They do not delete information already uploaded.

  • On Android, open device Settings, Apps and Anima. Select Permissions and deny unnecessary camera, microphone, photos and location access. Available categories depend on the device.
  • Next, on iPhone or iPad, open Settings, Privacy & Security and the relevant permission category. Disable unwanted access for the installed app. Confirm it is the same product before applying these instructions.
  • Finally, review device Notifications and browser site permissions separately. Turn off unwanted alerts and avoid previews on a shared screen.

Why it matters: An app permission does not control every browser or another device. Therefore, check each route and keep sensitive material out of uploads.

How to Use Anima Safely

For parents who discover a child using this service, begin with a calm conversation about what they enjoy and what worries them. Then help them leave the adult service without dismissing their feelings. In addition, arrange support from a trusted adult and agree how to prevent renewed access.

  • First, keep school names, home addresses, passwords, financial details and other people’s private information out of conversations.
  • Next, avoid uploading intimate images, children’s photographs or recordings that reveal other people without permission.
  • Then, check important advice with a qualified person. However, an affectionate or confident response can still be inaccurate.
  • Finally, protect sleep, schoolwork and time with friends. For example, notice distress when access changes or the companion contradicts expectations.

Anima Safety Settings: Limits and Current Concerns

Discuss consent, pressure and secrecy. For example, an AI character can imitate affection, agreement or jealousy without understanding a person’s welfare. Therefore, end an interaction that encourages harmful behaviour, sexual pressure or isolation. Never follow a request to send money, reveal a password or move into an unfamiliar service.

A companion cannot replace a trusted person, professional care or emergency help. In an emergency, contact local emergency services if there is immediate danger. When reporting, preserve only the information needed. However, do not circulate intimate or abusive material.

Anima Support and Regional Differences

This guide concerns Anima: AI Friend associated with myanima.ai and the Android package anima.virtual.ai.robot.friend. Other Anima products and separately branded romantic services may have different terms, subscriptions and controls.

The provider’s public guidance leaves uncertainty about exact app menu routes, selective memory deletion and optional content or proactive contact switches. Ask support to confirm these controls for your version. Because the age wording differs between policies, follow the adult requirement in the dedicated underage policy.

Anima Safety Settings Checklist

  • First, confirm the adult age requirement and prevent access from a child’s account.
  • Next, review recurring charges and cancel unwanted renewals through the original seller.
  • Then, reduce sensitive information, optional permissions and unwanted notifications.
  • Finally, report harmful replies through the documented support route.
  • Finally, check the app and website separately, including other devices and accounts.

Frequently Asked Questions

This guide does not recommend that. The website’s adult access policy conflicts with lower age wording elsewhere, and no protected child experience was verified.

Does a complaint erase my account data?

Do not assume so. Make an explicit privacy request and ask for confirmation of its scope. Manage recurring payments separately.
